Below are cocktails I have created, or recreated, to my liking. Please make them yourself and, of course, feel free to change whatever you see fit. (All of the syrups, infusions, tinctures, and some of the bitters are homemade; drop me a message if you're interested in the recipe[s].)

 

 

 

 

Amen Corner

2.5 oz bay leaf-infused gin
.75 oz thyme syrup
.75 oz lemon
.5 oz Green Chartreuse
1 egg white
2 dp saline solution

Combine ingredients in shaker and stir. Add ice. Shake thoroughly. Strain and serve up with fresh bay leaf.

Strawberry Rhubarb Mimosa

3 oz rosé
3 oz clarified strawberry
3 dp rhubarb bitters
2 dp saline solution

Mix ingredients and chill to extremely cold temperatures. Pour into carbonation bottle and carbonate. Serve up.

Mimosas & Mammograms (created for a National Breast Cancer Awareness Month event)

3 oz sauvignon blanc
3 oz hibiscus-infused clarified grapefruit
2 dp saline solution

Mix ingredients and chill to extremely cold temperatures. Pour into carbonation bottle and carbonate. Serve up.

Margarita

1.5 oz tequila blanco
.5 oz mezcal
.75 oz clarified key lime
.75 oz simple syrup (1:1)
2 oz filtered water
2 dp orange bitters
3 dp saline solution

Combine all ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake thoroughly. Strain thoroughly. Pour into carbonation bottle and carbonate. Serve over ice.

Taxation without Representation (a.k.a. If the British Colonized the Old Fashioned)

2 oz earl gray-infused, milk-washed scotch
.25 oz honey syrup
4 dp lavender bitters
clarified grapefruit rinse

Rinse glass with clarified grapefruit——coating all the sides and bottom. Place ice cube(s) in glass and combine ingredients. Swirl and serve with grapefruit peel.

Kramerica Industries

2.5 oz bourbon
.1 oz dampened pipe tobacco (a sweet variety)
.5 oz coffee liqueur
6 dp black walnut bitters
3 dp chocolate bitters
.2 oz simple syrup (or .5 tsp sugar)

Torch pipe tobacco. Place chilled serving glass upside-down over pile of smoldering tobacco. In mixing glass with ice, combine remaining ingredients. Stir throughly. Lift serving glass from tobacco and strain contents from mixing glass into serving glass. Serve over ice.

Winter in the Tropics

2 oz mango
1.5 oz aquavit
1 dp pine essence
.5 oz lemon
.5 oz simple syrup (1:1)
3 dp saline solution

Combine ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake thoroughly. Strain and serve up.

Red Sky in the Morning

2 oz dark rum
5 dp mezcal
1.5 oz ginger syrup
3 dp Hellfire Shrub
.5 oz ginger liqueur
.5 oz lime

Rinse chilled glass with mezcal. Combine remaining ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake thoroughly. Strain into rinsed glass——top with ginger beer——and serve up.

Easy Like a Sunday Morning

2 oz tangerine-infused vodka
.5 oz Aperol
.5 oz simple syrup (1:1)
.5 oz lime
1 dp Burlesque bitters
1 dp saline solution

Combine ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake thoroughly. Strain and serve up.

Walton

2 oz bourbon (100+ proof)
.75 Amaro Montenegro
.25 ginger liqueur
6 dp orange bitters
1 dp Hellfire Shrub

Combine ingredients in mixing glass. Add ice. Stir thoroughly. Strain and serve over ice with orange peel (after expressing orange oils over drink).

Summer Fling

1.25 oz aquavit
.25 Meletti
.75 passionfruit cordial
.25 water
.25 acid-adjusted raspberry
3 dp chocolate bitters

Combine ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake thoroughly. Strain and serve up.

Summer in the Heat

2 oz tequila
.25 oz mezcal
5 oz clarified peach
1 oz simple syrup (1:1)

Mix ingredients and chill to extremely cold temperatures. Pour into carbonation bottle and carbonate. Serve up. *Serves two*

Caught in the Rain

1.5 oz milk-washed white rum
2 oz pineapple
.75 oz coconut curry syrup
.25 allspice dram
8 ds Smith & Cross

Combine ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake thoroughly. Strain and dust with powdered turmeric and garam masala. Serve up.
